POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -Â The Marist University women's tennis team is set to conclude the regular season on Friday, hosting Rider at 1 p.m. at the Marist Tennis Pavilion.
At 3:45 p.m., the Red Foxes will honor senior
Cloe Clements Sorde and the men's tennis team seniors with a brief ceremony.

- The Red Foxes delivered a dominant 7-0 victory over Lafayette in a non-conference match on April 12.
- After dropping the No. 1 doubles match, Marist responded with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 to secure the doubles point. Senior Cloe Clements Sorde and sophomore Lola Ungerman earned a 6-1 win, while sophomore Viktoria Lorentzon and junior Jane Wright followed with a 6-1 victory.
- In singles play, Marist controlled every court. Junior Caterina Assi battled to a three-set win at No. 1, while Lorentzon secured a straight-set victory at No. 2.
- Clements Sorde, freshman Yasmin Asnis, freshman Tessa Wachtel, and freshman Moxi Liang each earned wins in straight sets to complete the sweep.
- The Broncs are 3-16 overall and 1-5 in conference play this season.
- Friday's match will mark the 26th meeting in program history between Marist and Rider, with the Red Foxes leading the all-time series 22-3.
- The 2026 MAAC Women's Tennis Championships are April 24-26 at the Lenz Tennis Center in Princeton, New Jersey.
