POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's tennis team is set for two matches this weekend, traveling to Quinnipiac on Friday at 12 p.m. before hosting Merrimack on Saturday for a 4:45 p.m. match at Sportsplex New Windsor.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes rallied from a 3-0 deficit to earn a 4-3 victory over Sacred Heart on March 30.
• Trailing 1-0, Marist dropped the first two singles matches to fall behind 3-0 before mounting a comeback. Cloe Clements Sorde started the rally with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 3. Lola Ungerman followed with a three-set victory at No. 4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
• Yasmin Asnis added another point with a 6-4, 6-7 (2), 6-0 win at No. 5, and Vihana Shresta clinched the match with a 7-6 (4), 6-3 victory at No. 6.

SCOUTING QUINNIPIAC

• The Bobcats are 10-6 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
• Friday will mark the 20th meeting in program history between Marist and Quinnipiac, with the Red Foxes still in search of their first win.

SCOUTING MERRIMACK

• The Warriors are 1-12 on the season and 0-5 in the MAAC.
• Saturday's match will mark the second meeting in program history between Marist and Merrimack. The Red Foxes previously earned a 4-0 sweep on Feb. 8, 2025.
