POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's tennis team is set for two matches this weekend, traveling to Fairfield on Thursday at 2 p.m. before going to Lafayette on Sunday, April 12 for a 12 p.m. match.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes earned a 6-1 victory over Siena on April 6.
• Marist secured the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Junior Caterina Assi and freshman Yasmin Asnis earned a 6-3 victory at No. 2, while sophomore Lola Ungerman and senior Cloe Clements Sorde followed with a 6-1 win at No. 3.
• The Red Foxes carried that momentum into singles play, winning five of six matches. Assi led the way with a dominant 6-0, 6-3 victory at No. 1. Lorentzon followed with a three-set win at No. 2, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, while Clements Sorde added a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 3.
• Ungerman delivered a commanding 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4, and sophomore Ella Lindsey secured a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 6.

SCOUTING FAIRFIELD

• The Stags are 5-10 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
• Thursday will mark the 30th meeting in program history between Marist and Fairfield, with the Red Foxes holding a 15-14 edge in the all-time series.

SCOUTING LAFAYETTE

• The Leopards are 2-8 on the season and 1-3 in the Patriot League.
• Sunday's match will mark the 10th meeting in program history between Marist and Lafayette, with the Red Foxes leading the all-time series 8-1.
