POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team closed out the regular season with its 14
th straight win on Saturday, as the Red Foxes defeated Siena 11-3 in five innings.

Prior to the game, Marist honored its senior class of
Ava Metzger,
Isabella Manory,
Peyton Pusey, and
Haley Ahr. The Marist softball program has had its most wins over a four-year stretch in program history from 2023-26 with 147 victories in this span.

- Marist's three-run first was fueled by its seniors. Pusey led off with a bunt single, Manory walked, and Ahr belted a three-run homer.
- The Red Foxes scored six in the bottom of the second, which included an RBI double by Anna Sidlowski and an RBI single by Manory, and was then punctuated by a grand slam off the bat of Livia Wiltsie.
- Siena scored three in the top of the fourth, but Marist closed out the game in the bottom of the fifth. Sidlowski doubled to lead off the inning, and later scored on a throwing error. Ahr then delivered the game-winning hit, which brought home Annabelle Geiser with the game-ending run.

- Ahr and Wiltsie both drove in four.
- Marist had 11 hits, led by Ahr with three. She went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and two runs scored.
- Pusey and Sidlowski each had two hits. Sidlowski was not retired, as she went 2-for-2 with two runs scored, a walk, and an RBI.
- Ava Metzger went the first four innings for her 10th win of the season. Sidlowski pitched the fifth in relief.

- Marist won every MAAC regular-season series this season, with seven sweeps.
- Ahr's walk-off hit was the 200th RBI of her career.
- Wiltsie's grand slam was her second of the season, and the second by a Red Fox this week, and Lily Roumelis belted one on Wednesday.

- Marist is now 34-19 overall and went 24-3 in the MAAC.
- Siena is 25-19, and went 15-12 in conference play.

- Marist opens play in the MAAC Championship on Thursday, May 7 at Gartland Field at 12:30 p.m.
- The Red Foxes will face the winner of #5 Quinnipiac and #4 Sacred Heart, who will play at 12:30 on Wednesday, May 6.
