POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist Men's Rowing Team retained their national ranking this week in the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) Weekly coaches poll. Marist moved from 22
nd to 23
rd last week for the Varsity Eight and this week retained their position at 23rd. In addition the Marist 2
nd Varsity Eight ranked 22
nd and the Marist 3
rd Varsity Eight Ranked 25th. The Marist Rowing Team as a whole ranked 23
rd in the nation in the Ten Eyck Team Points Category.
" The team has enjoyed a phenomenal season this year returning the crew to national ranking status for the first time since our 2022 IRA run with the Varsity Eight retaining a national ranking higher than 25th every week since Mid- April. The past two weeks have also marked the only time in program history that Marist had all three of its varisty eights ranked in national polling demonstrating our depth and strength. We are VERY excited for our conference championship the Dad Vail Regatta this weekend. GO RED FOXES!"
The Marist Men's Rowing Team will race this weekend at their conference championship Dad Vail Regatta in Cherry Hill NJ with opportunities to qualify for the IRA National Championship Regatta on the line.
