POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Nine Marist student-athletes were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District on Tuesday.
 
The nine student-athletes were honored in the At-Large category. The sports that fall under this umbrella at Marist are water polo, women's rowing, women's lacrosse, and men's lacrosse.
 
Marist's nine honorees are:
 

• Water Polo: Inés Sánchez, Paige Naegle, Kendell de Beer
• Women's Rowing: Natalie Ronan
• Women's Lacrosse: Amelia Pirozzi, Mia Fernandes
• Men's Lacrosse: Michael Cassano, Brady Dolan, Dylan Rocchio

 
Cassano and Ronan earned the honor for the second straight year.
 
To be eligible for College Sports Communicators Academic All-District consideration, a student-athlete must have a grade-point average of at least 3.50, be of sophomore standing academically and athletically, and meet athletic eligibility requirements which vary by sport.
