POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Marist Associate AD/Student Athlete Health & Performance Jeffrey Carter has announced the hiring of Annie Patwell, who has joined the Red Foxes' Sports Medicine staff.

Her coverage responsibilities include men's soccer, men's and women's swimming & diving, and baseball.
 
Prior to her arrival at Marist, Annie most recently worked for Hartford Healthcare as a per diem athletic trainer. Her previous professional experiences include serving as an Athletic Training Summer Intern for the eventual AFC West champion Denver Broncos in the summer of 2025.
 
Annie gained a wealth of clinical experience as an undergraduate. In her senior year, she spent the fall semester with James Madison Football, Boca Raton Bowl Champs, and she worked with Quinnipiac's women's lacrosse in the spring. She also worked with Quinnipiac's men's basketball, women's volleyball, women's track and field, and club sports teams. She gained additional experience in football at Yale and the University of Massachusetts. Annie also spent a season in summer league baseball with the Amsterdam Mohawks.
 
Annie earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Quinnipiac in May of 2025.
