VESTAL, NY – The Marist women's soccer team begins its 2026 campaign with a road contest against Binghamton on Sunday, August 16. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. from the Bearcats Sports Complex on ESPN+.
 

2026 SEASON PREVIEW

• The Red Foxes were picked tied for 6th of 13 teams in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll
• Marist returns 17 members from last season's team
• Marist is set to take on five non-conference opponents. Its home opener will be against Colgate on Thursday, August 20
• The non-conference matchups will finish on Sunday, August 30, on the road at Navy
• The Red Foxes will open conference play at home against Merrimack on Saturday, September 5

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS

• Binghamton opens its season picked second in the America East Coaches' Poll
• Binghamton's Sophia Garofalo, Paige Luke, Jahkaya Davis, Anna Buckwalter, and Rebecca Kessler earned preseason All-Conference honors
• The Bearcats opened the season with a 3-0 victory over Lehigh on Thursday, Aug. 13

HISTORY VS BINGHAMTON

• Sunday's contest will mark the sixth contest between the two programs
• Marist holds a record of 1-2-2 against Binghamton
• The last time the two squads faced off, Binghamton came away with a 2-1 victory on August 28, 2025 in Poughkeepsie

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes will be back in action on Thursday, Aug. 20, when Marist plays host to Colgate in the 2026 home opener
• The contest is set for a 4 p.m. start
