POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Marist women's soccer team continues its 2026 campaign with its 2026 home opener against Colgate on Thursday, August 20. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. from Tenney Stadium on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Marist women's soccer team opened its 2026 season Sunday afternoon, falling 2-0 to Binghamton at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
• After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Binghamton broke through in the 70th minute and added an insurance goal 10 minutes later to secure the season-opening victory.
• Caroline Liptak and Mia Katchouni each recorded two shots to lead the Red Foxes, while Peduto added a shot on goal off the bench. 
• Samantha Graf played all 90 minutes in goal for Marist.

SCOUTING THE RAIDERS

• Colgate enters the contest at 0-2-0 on the season
• The Raiders opened the season with a 3-1 loss at Pepperdine and a 1-0 loss at Long Beach State
• Jocelyn Rowe leads Colgate with its only goal on the season
• Ella Poppinga has tallied 14 saves in net through two games

HISTORY VS COLGATE

• Friday's contest will mark the sixth contest between the two programs
• Marist holds a record of 0-4-1 against Colgate
• The last time the two squads faced off, Colgate came away with a 2-1 victory on August 21, 2025 on the road

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes will be back in action on Sunday, Aug. 23, when Marist plays host to Fordham
• The contest is set for a 7 p.m. start
