POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Marist women's soccer team continues its 2026 non-conference campaign with a match against Holy Cross on Sunday, August 23. The game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. from Tenney Stadium on ESPN+.
 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Marist women's soccer team took an early lead but fell to Fordham, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon at Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field.
• The Red Foxes struck first in the fourth minute. Ella Bryan set up Marissa Foster, who found the back of the net at the 3:21 mark to give Marist an early 1-0 advantage.
• Nelly Bianchi-Nagle entered in goal for the second half and made three saves. 
• Samantha Graf recorded one save during the opening 45 minutes.Marist finished the match with eight corner kicks and five shots on goal. Foster scored her first goal of the season, while Bryan recorded the assist.

SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS

• Holy Cross enters the contest at 2-1-1 on the season
• The Crusaders opened the season with a 2-2 tie against Quinnipiac, before picking up a 3-2 win over Stonehill and a 1-0 win over Brown
• Sam Halligan leads Holy Cross with five goals, two assists, and seven points
• Antriana Mila has tallied 18 saves in net and boasts a 1.75 GAA

HISTORY VS HOLY CROSS

• Thursday's contest will mark the second contest between the two programs
• Marist holds a record of 0-1-0 against Holy Cross
• The last time the two squads faced off, Holy Cross came away with a 2-0 victory on August 31, 2025 on the road

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Red Foxes will be back in action on Sunday, Aug. 30, when Marist travels to take on Navy
• The contest is set for an 1 p.m. start
