Prior to Marist - Svensson is a Commack, New York native and a three year Commack High School Varsity Letter winner. Svensson has captained her team in her senior year and has been the leading goal scorer and two time leader in points. Svensson has been named All-League, All-Conference, and All-County twice in her high school career along with being named to the All-League Academic Team. Along with those honors, Svensson has been selected on the MSG All-Metro team, MSG All-Long Island First Team, the All-State Team, and named Suffolk County League One Player of the Year and Commack HS Fall Female Athlete of the Year in 2015. Svensson is a two time New York Cup Champion, National Cup Semi-Finalist and two-time leading goal scorer for her ISA NPL Team. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and History Honor Society. Daughter of Darlene and Howard, and an older sister to Howard and Alanna.
