Accolades: First Team All-PFL, First Team All-PFL (Phil Steele Publications), PFL Academic Honor Roll.
  • Started nine games at linebacker.
  • Led PFL in tackles per game (10.44).
  • Registered 94 total tackles (29 solo), with five-and-a-half tackles for loss, one sack, one pass break-up, and one forced fumble. 
  • Had at least nine tackles in every game, including seven with at least 10.
  • Had career-high 14 stops, including one-and-a-half tackles for loss, vs. Morehead State, Oct. 23.

Coach Parady on Johnson: “Jayden is a commanding, physical presence on the defensive side of the ball.  He reads the play quickly, comes downhill with authority, and punishes the ball carrier on contact.  In addition to making plays in the box, he also shows athleticism to run down opponents in space.”
