2011: Appeared in 16 games for the Red Foxes, starting three contests...Scored her lone goal on the year against Lafayette (Sept. 18), which was also the game winning goal of the match ... Tallied two assists on the year, versus Central Connecticut State (Sept. 4) and at home versus Saint Peter's (Oct. 7) ... Registered eight shots, four on goal.
2010: Made 17 appearances and six starts on the season ... Took seven shots - four of them on goal.
2009: Saw time in 16 games as a midfielder - starting 12 ... Tied for fifth on the team in goals (2) and ranked sixth for total points (5) ... Recorded both her goals against Saint Peter's (Sept. 27) ... Also assisted Kathryn Hannis in notching a goal in the same match ... Her five-point performance against Saint Peter's was one of only two offensive performances of this magnitude for the Red Foxes on the season.
2008: Started eight games as a rookie, played in 18 total ... Notched her first career point against St. Joseph's at Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field on Sept. 14 as she assisted on a Mallory Inglese goal ... Tied for the highest shooting percentage on the team of players that took more than five shots with a mark of .667.
Prior To Marist: Downey started for the Chesire soccer program for all of her high school years, and reached the state finals twice. The natural lefty has played defense and midfield, and was named All-County and All-Area in the process. Playing for the South Central Premier Club Team, Downey has won two State Cup Championships.
