2015: MAAC Faceoff Specialist of the Year, MAAC All-Academic Team...Appeared in all 18 games... Took 413 out of 424 faceoffs for Marist, winning 52.5 percent of the time and finishing second in the MAAC... Won a career-high 23 faceoffs and scooped up 14 ground balls at Quinnipiac on March 28... Scored a goal vs. Monmouth on March 14 and at Hofstra on April 7... Picked up an assist and scooped up 10 ground balls in the MAAC final vs. Quinnipiac on May 2 while also winning 20 of 34 faceoffs... Caused three turnovers.

2014: MAAC All-Academic Team... Appeared in all 15 games for the Red Foxes this season as Marist’s primary faceoff specialist... Won 196-of-356 faceoffs taken for a winning-percentage of 55.1 percent... Collected a team-high 72 ground balls, including a season-high 10 on March 1 against Marquette... Had four caused turnovers on the year... Recorded four points on three goals and one assist... Scored goals Feb. 14 against Stony Brook (first collegiate goal), March 22 against Quinnipiac, and April 5 against Detroit... Had one assist April 26 against Canisius... Finished the season ranked fifth in the MAAC for ground balls per game (4.8) and third for face-off winning-percentage.

2013: Appeared in 10 games as a freshman… Went 34-72 (.472) on face-offs on the season... Collected 17 ground balls, including a team-high nine March 30 vs. VMI… Caused a turnover and grabbed two ground balls at Manhattan on April 27.
2013 Game-by-Game
Prior to Marist: Montemurro scored more than 100 goals, collected nearly 600 ground balls and had a 73 percent success rate in face-offs in his career at Kings Park. In his senior campaign, Montemurro scored 35 goals to go along with 24 assists for 59 points. He also scooped up 174 ground balls and won 74 percent of his face-offs. A two-year captain, he was selected to the All-County Team his junior and senior seasons after being named to the All-Division team as a sophomore. He was also a decorated member of the wrestling and football teams. Academically, Montemurro was a member of the High Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and was a National Scholar Athlete. His older brother Joe played lacrosse at Hofstra.
