2010: Made 20 starts behind the plate as a freshman and played in 25 games. ... Notched 12 hits including a 3-for-4 day at the plate against Wagner on March 13, the Red Foxes second game at the Rebel Spring Games. ... Notched her lone extra base hit of the season, a double, at Columbia on April 6 in game two of a doubleheader in a 5-2 loss to the Lions. ... Threw out seven runners in stolen base attempts on the season.
Prior To Marist: Carmody graduated with honors and in the top five percent of her class from Adolfo Camarillo High School. She is a lifetime member of the California Scholastic Federation, and received the President's Award of Excellence in Education, and scholar-athlete awards. She played softball for Adolfo Camarillo, the three-time league champs, and competed in the C.I.F. Southern Section Division I. In her freshman and sophomore years, her team went 29-0 and 28-1 respectively; she was the starting catcher. She played travel ball starting at 12U with the last 4 years in 18U Gold. Her last 2 years were spent with the SoCal Sliderz.
