Biography

Marist Record Book: Currently holds the two spots in the all-time single-season runs mark with 44 in 2011 and 36 in 2012. Ranked 10th all-time with 53 hits in 2012. Also sits third overall in career runs scored with 103.

2012: First Team All-MAAC ... MAAC All-Academic Team ... MAAC All-Tournament Team ... Played in and started 53 games for Marist, hitting leadoff in 52 of the contests ... Ranked first in the MAAC in hit by pitches (16) and triples (3) ... Also finished top 10 in the MAAC in batting average at .327 (7th) and on-base percentage at .428 (4th); first or tied for first on Marist in all four categories ... Second on the team with 36 runs scored and third with 53 hits ... Had a season-high three runs scored at home versus Niagara on April 21 ... Hit her second career home run versus Columbia on April 4 ... In conference play hit .375 with a .483 on-base percentage ... Closed season with hits in 23 of her last 27 games ... Failed to reach base in only five games the entire season.     

2011: Second Team All-MAAC ... MAAC All-Academic Team ... MAAC Player of the Week: March 1 ... Appeared in the leadoff position for the Red Foxes in all 55 games and starts ... 44 runs scored led the MAAC, as well as 17 hit by pitches ... Had the second highest on-base percentage on the team at .418 and fourth highest batting average with a .285 mark ... Scored three or more runs on six occasions with an individual and team-high four on March 16 at Maryland-Eastern Shore ... Drove in a season-high five RBIs on April 9 versus Rider ... Hit first career home run at UTEP on March 19 ... Had an eight-game hit streak down the stretch for the Red Foxes from April 26 through May 8.

2010: MAAC Player of the Week, March 15 ... Made 43 starts and played in all 45 games for Marist in her first season with the team after transferring from Division II Concordia in 2009. ... Emerged as the leadoff batter for Marist, starting the game at the plate in 42 contests as the team recorded nine wins with her at the first spot in the lineup. ... Batted .260 for the season and led the team in runs scored (23), stolen bases (five) and hit by pitch (five). ... Tied for the second longest hitting streak on the team, a stretch of seven games from April 20-May 1. ... Reached base in nine straight games from March 13-19 at the Rebel Spring Games. ... A contact hitter, she struck out just 14 times in 131 at bats.

Prior To Marist: Corriss played a season at Concordia College in Bronxville, N.Y., a Division II school. During her rookie season, she started every contest in center field and hit in the lead off spot. She was tied for the team lead in runs scored. Corriss spent time with four different teams during her scholastic career at St. Anthony's High School. She played four years of softball, ran two years of winter track, played two years of european handball and ran cross country for a season. She was her team's softball offensive MVP in 2007 and All-League in her senior season, where she helped her team to the CHSAA Championship.
