Biography
In the record book: Panzner is ranked second in program history for career assists (19), tied for first for games played (83), and ranked 7th for career points (43).
2013: All-MAAC Second Team, All-Academic Team - As a captain, Panzner started all 20 games for the Red Foxes. She scored four goals this season: at Drexel on Aug. 26, at Cornell on Sept. 13, at Binghamton on Sept. 15, and vs. Quinnipiac on Oct. 16. She contributed an additional five assists.
2012: Second Team All-MAAC... All-Academic Team … During her junior year, Panzner started all of Marist’s 22 games… She recorded a team high seven assists… Scored two goals off 33 attempts, 17 of which were on goal… For the second time she was honored for her academic prowess by the MAAC conference… Scored three points against both NJIT and Niagara.
2012 Game-by-Game
2011: MAAC All-Academic Team ... Appeared in all 21 games for the Red Foxes and started in 10 contests ... Tied for second on the team with 6 assists and a tie for third with two goals ... Had the lone Red Fox assist versus #21 Boston College in the NCAA Tournament on Katie Hannis' goal ... Took 21 shots, eight of them on goal ... Recorded a four-point game against Niagara (Oct. 21) on the strength of two goals including the game-winner.
2010: MAAC Offensive Player of the Week, 10/4. ... As a freshman, appeared in all 20 games and started eight games ... Finished second on the team in goals with 4 ... Took 22 shots - ten of them on goal ... Scored first collegiate goal on Sept. 28 at Yale ... Scored both goals in 2-0 win at Saint Peter's on Oct. 1 ... Recorded first collegiate assist on Oct. 10 in 1-0 win against Loyola.
Prior To Marist: A four-year varsity player and team captain in her senior season, Panzner received All-State recognition during her junior and senior seasons. ... She was also an All-Conference and All-County player each year of her high school career. ... Her club team, the Montcliar United Thunderbolts reached the Region I finals in 2009. ... Panzner has also been a three year member of the New Jersey State ODP team.
