Biography

2018 Senior Year
Accolades: MAAC All-Academic Team.
  • Appeared and started in all 18 games.
  • Had 15 shots on the year, including a season-high three twice.
  • Had seven shots on goal for a .467 shot on goal percentage.
 
2017 Junior Year

Accolades: MAAC All-Academic Team.

  • Appeared in 16 games, starting 11 of them
  • Scored one goal 8/29 at Harwick
  • Had four assists on the season, coming 9/24 vs St. Bonaventure, 9/27 vs. St. Peter’s, and 10/25 vs Canisius
  • Tied single-game career-high with two assists 9/27 vs, St. Peter’s.
2016 Sophomore Year

Accolades: All-MAAC 1st Team, MAAC All-Academic Team. 
  • Played in and started all 19 games for Red Foxes
  • Scored first goal of the season at Albany on 8/26
  • Led the team in assists with six
  • Had a season high, career high and first 2 career assists vs Hartwick 8/30
  • Had a season high 6 shots and 3 shots on goal at Albany 8/26
  • Scored the game winner in back-to-back games at Saint Peters 10/22 and vs Niagara 10/26.

2015 Freshman Year

Accolades: All-MAAC Second Team, All-MAAC Rookie Team, MAAC Rookie of the Week (10/5).

  • Started 15 games
  • Scored his first career goal Sept. 30th in a 3-2 win vs. Canisius
  • Scored the game winning goal in a 2-0 win vs. Saint Peter's on Oct. 3rd and in a 1-0 win Oct. 28th at Niagra
  • Ranked second on the team in goals with four, points with eight and game winning goals with two
  • Finished the season with 13 shots, five of which were on goal
  • Scored all four of his goals on PK attempts (4-for-5) and finished second on the team in goals.
General

Prior to MaristJorgensen has been among the elite talent in his native country of Denmark. He won the Danish U19 Cup and received a silver medal in the Danish U19 League in 2014. This past fall Jorgensen was elected Talent of the Year in the Danish Second Division by national soccer online news outlet ligabold.dk. He has been part of the national pool of players for the Danish U15 talent center and U16 National Team. In five seasons playing in international youth tournaments with FC Nordsjaelland he has faced European powerhouses such as AC Milan, Juventus, Tottenham, AS Roma, and West Ham.
