2016: MAAC All-Academic Team - Houghton appeared in six games during the 2016 season, starting in two. She had 14 saves for the season including five saves on October 8th, helping the foxes defeat Fairfield 1-0. Houghton stopped another 5 shots in a big 2-1 win against Canisius on October 12th, 2016. She ends the 2016 only allowing 6 goals in her total 6 games played. 

2015: Played in nine games, starting seven. Made a career high 11 saves vs. Maine on Sept. 11. Recorded her first career win in a 6-1 victory at St. Peter’s on Oct. 4. Stopped six shots vs. Dartmouth and Delaware State on Aug. 30^th and Oct. 16^th respectively. Allowed two or fewer goals in seven of her nine games played. 

2014: MAAC All-Rookie Team... Appeared in six games, making five starts... Made a career-high six saves, playing all 110 minutes of a tie at Rider on Sept. 21... Stopped five shots in a draw at Siena on Oct. 1... Allowed one or fewer goals in three of her six games played.

Prior to Marist: Houghton attended Immaculate High School and won two state championships in her time there. She was nominated three times to the All-Southwest Conference Team, All- State Team, and All-New England Team. She made honor roll during all of her semesters in high school.
