Biography

2017: First Team NFCA All-Region, First Team All-ECAC, First Team All-MAAC, MAAC Player of the Week 4/25, MAAC All-Academic Team. The team's only player to start all 59 games (56 in right field, three at designated player). ... Led team in 13 categories. ... Hit .366 with 14 homers, 54 RBIs, and 42 runs scored. ... Drew 30 walks, had an on-base percentage of .446 and slugging percentage of .686. ... Set program's single-season record for RBIs, set program's all-time record for doubles (52), and tied program's single-season record for doubles (19). ... Led team with 17 multi-RBI games, and was tied for second with 18 multi-hit games. ... Drove in season-high five runs in the second game of a doubleheader at Holy Cross, April 12. ... Hit .682 (15-for-22) with four homers and 10 RBIs in a six-game stretch between April 19-23 to earn MAAC Player of the Week honors.

2016: Second Team All-MAAC, 2X MAAC Player of the Week (3/29, 5/10). Played in 56 games, and made 54 starts (all in right field). ... Hit .342 with .423 on-base percentage and .570 slugging percentage. ... Hit six homers, was second on the team with 40 RBIs, and scored 29 runs. ... Had team-best 16 doubles, and was 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts. ... Posted fielding percentage of .956. ... Had 13 multi-hit and 11 multi-RBI games. .. Scored the winning run in the Marist's 3-2 walk-off triumph over Monmouth in the MAAC championship game, coming home from second on an infield hit. ... Had three game-tying hits in the seventh inning with Marist trailing by multiple runs.

2015: Played in 42 games, and made 34 starts (all in right field). ... Hit .292 with one home run, 14 RBIs, eight doubles and 19 runs scored. .. Had .406 on-base percentage and .396 slugging percentage. ... Had eight multi-hit and three multi-RBI games. ... Made collegiate pitching debut in season finale at Saint Peter’s, tossing two-thirds of an inning without allowing a run, May 3.

2014: All-MAAC Second Team...Korak appeared in 50 games for the Red Foxes, starting 45 matchups in 2014...She averaged a .331 batting average, which was third on the team, with 46 hits, also third on the team...She compiled 26 RBIs, 25 runs and five homers with a .504 slug percentage and .405 on base percentage...She was fourth on the team, going 6-7 in stolen bases throughout the season...In right field, Korak posted 41 putouts and three assists with a .957 field percentage...In Marist’s come-from-behind victory over Lehigh on April 8, Korak drew in the tying run with a double to left center, as she crossed the plate to take the lead and the win for the Red Foxes...After 10 innings against Quinnipiac on April 26, Korak snagged the game-winning RBI as she singled to left field with two out and the bases loaded...She posted a seven-game hitting streak from April 12 to April 19, compiling nine hits...Korak notched a season-high three runs scored on March 20 vs. Jacksonville...She posted a season-high three hits twice this season against Jacksonville (March 20) and Rider (April 13)...Korak claimed a season-high four RBIs vs. Manhattan on April 6...She nailed two homers vs. Jacksonville on March 20.

Prior to Marist: Parents are Michelle and John Korak... Played 2 years JV softball and 4 years varsity at Sparkman High School in Huntsville, AL. 2012 & 2013 AL 6A State Champions, 2012 North Regional MVP, 6A State MVP, state record holder for most RBI's with 99, 2013 All State team, area MVP. She also traveled to Italy and Greece to play softball on the USA team. Major is Athletic Training.
