Herasme joins the Red Foxes as a true freshman who played scholastically at Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey. Each of the last two seasons, he helped lead Don Bosco to the final of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament of Champions, and the team posted a 28-3 record in 2017-18. Herasme played for the Dominican Republic national team at the FIBA Under 18 Americas Championship in the summer of 2018.
