Sat out during the 2018-2019 season
As a freshman at Santa Clara in the 2017-18 season, Turner knocked down 34 percent of his three-point attempts and posted a 14-8 assist-to-turnover ratio in 218 minutes. He averaged 4.1 points in 12.1 minutes per game.
Turner played his final two scholastic seasons at prestigious Blair Academy in New Jersey. He earned First Team All-Conference and All-State honors as a senior, in which he averaged 14 points and four rebounds per game. He helped his team capture two Mid-Atlantic Prep League titles.
