The 2024 season marks the first for Dev Patel on the Marist football staff. He is serving as a defensive assistant.
From 2022-24, Patel worked as an undergraduate with the University of Connecticut football program at the FBS level. Patel served as both a student coaching assistant and equipment manager.

Patel worked with the Huskies’ defensive backs in the spring of 2022. He then worked with the defensive line in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, as well as the spring of 2024.

Patel earned his Bachelor’s degree from UConn in Geographical Information Science in the spring of 2024.
