Ian Grant joined the Marist coaching staff in the spring of 2023. He is heading into his second season as the Red Foxes’ assistant offensive line coach in 2024.

Grant played collegiately at Marist from 2016-19 and earned playing time at both guard positions. He was a two-time selection to the Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll and was inducted into the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.

Grant held multiple leadership responsibilities in his time at Marist. He was a resident assistant in his junior and senior years, as well as a peer mentor as a senior.

From 2020-22, Grant served as head junior varsity coach at Allentown High School in his hometown of Allentown, New Jersey. He worked with the varsity offensive and defensive lines during that time and coached the varsity tight ends and fullbacks in the 2022 season. Grant coached five players who earned All-Conference honors.

Grant graduated Cum Laude from Marist in the spring 2020. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and he minored in Sports Communication.
