Jimmy Picerelli joined Marist College as its Director of Football Operations in August of 2021 as part of head coach Jim Parady's staff. Picerelli will also serve as Pro Liaison and Video Coordinator for the Red Fox football program.
In his role, Picerelli is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Marist football program, providing direct support to Coach Parady and staff, both on campus and around the community. He also coordinates and schedules team travel and meetings and serves as a liaison to other departments within the university as it pertains to the team and student-athletes.
Prior to Marist, Picerelli served as Assistant Director of Football Operations & Recruiting at Bryant University from 2020-21. In his role, Picerelli helped establish and execute the annual football budget and co-facilitated all program operations, including team travel, meals, transportation and administrative support. He was also in charge of all equipment operations and served as head graphic designer for the program. Additionally, he assisted in all student-athlete evaluations and maintained the program’s recruiting board year-round ensuring compliance and eligibility requirements were met.
Picerelli graduated from Bryant University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in team & project management. Picerelli was also a four-year member of the football program at Bryant, playing from 2016-19 as a long snapper. He was a two-time All-NEC selection and was named to the Bryant University Football All-Decade Team.
As an undergraduate, Picerelli also worked in Bryant’s athletic department in 4 different areas, including operations, marketing, communications and equipment. Picerelli went on to intern in the NFL with the Washington Football Team as a Football Operations & Equipment Assistant in 2019. While there, he assisted in preparation for the team’s yearly Training Camp session in Richmond, Virginia.
Picerelli is a native of Warren, Rhode Island and has one brother, Peter, who is a college scout for the Washington Football Team. While at Marist, Picerelli plans to study and receive his MBA.
