Matt Poveromo is in second season as tight ends coach in the 2017 season.

Poveromo played tight end for the Red Foxes in the 2013 season before his playing career was cut short due to injury. From the 2014 season through the spring of 2016 season, he served as a student assistant. His responsibilities included working with the team’s tight ends as well as preparation with practices, games, and film.

A local product, Poveromo played high school football at Washingtonville.

Poveromo earned his degree in three years at Marist in May 2016. He received a B.S. in Criminal Justice and minored in Paralegal Studies.
