Noah Vedral

Noah Vedral was hired at Marist in the winter of 2025. The 2025 season marks his first on head coach Mike Willis' staff, and he is serving as wide receivers coach.
 
Vedral enjoyed a six-year Division I collegiate playing career as a quarterback at the Football Bowl Subdivision level. In the 2017 season, he was part of Central Florida’s undefeated team that defeated Auburn in the Peach Bowl. He saw action in eight games that season, as he completed 22 of 29 passes (75.9 percent) for 276 yards and a touchdown.
 
Vedral then played at Nebraska from 2018-19, where he played in eight games and completed 36 of 61 passes (59.0 percent) for 447 yards.
 
From 2020-22, Vedral played at Rutgers, where he made 20 starts and appeared in 24 games. He was a captain in each of his final two years with the Scarlet Knights, and helped lead the team to the Gator Bowl in 2022, which was the program’s first bowl appearance in eight years. He was the winner of the program’s Bender Ward in 2021, which recognizes exemplary mental and physical toughness. He then won the Paul Robeson Award in 2022, which honors performance, leadership, and the impact on the team.
 
In his collegiate career, Vedral threw for 4,063 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 10 rushing touchdowns in a total of 39 games.
 
Vedral captured numerous academic honors in his collegiate career. He was a five-time selection to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. He earned the Gold Academic Medallion, and captured the Outstanding Scholar Award at Nebraska. Vedral was a three-year Big 10 Academic All-American, a two-time Big 10 Distinguished Scholar, and a Campbell Trophy national semifinalist in 2021.
 
Vedral earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Communication with a minor in Business from Nebraska in 2020, and he received a Master of Communication and Media with a specialization in Leadership from Rutgers in 2022.
