Sean Gaffney is in his second season on head coach Jim Parady's coaching staff at Marist in 2022. He will coach the Red Foxes' tight ends.
In his first season on staff in 2021, Gaffney assisted offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Jake Dembow in working with the team's offensive linemen.
Gaffney played for the Red Foxes from 2017-20 at tight end. A solid contributor both as a receiver and blocker, he scored four collegiate touchdowns. In the 2019 season, Gaffney tied for the team lead with three touchdown receptions.
Gaffney majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and earned his Bachelor's degree in the spring of 2021. He was a three-time selection to the Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll.
Gaffney is originally from Chester, New Jersey.
