Will Margraff is in his first season at Marist in 2024, serving as nickels/outside linebackers coach.
Margraff comes to Marist from Hampden-Sydney College, where he worked as secondary coach since the spring of 2024. His recruiting areas were Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Tennessee, and Florida. He previously served as defensive quality control coach at the Ivy League’s University of Pennsylvania in the 2023 season. There, he managed scout teams, produced scouting reports, and showed proficiency with video elements as well as Pro Football Focus.
Margraff is a 2023 graduate of the University of Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development. He was an Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society Member and a Dean’s List honoree.
Margraff is the son of the late Jim Margraff, who was the head coach at Johns Hopkins University from 1990-2018 and posted a record of 221-89-3. The 221 wins made Jim Margraff the winningest college coach in the history of the school and the state of Maryland.
