Prior to Marist
  • Starred at Hershey High School, where he was named Pennsylvania Sportswriters Class 5A First Team All-State twice.
  • Set the program’s all-time scoring record with 1,457 career points and led Hershey to its first PIAA District 3 championship in over 50 years.
  • Sweeney played for the Sideline Cancer independent AAU team on the MADE Hoops Circuit.
