Brown will start her first year as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Enhancement for men’s and women’s basketball August 2018. Prior to joining the Red Foxes, Brown served as the Assistant Director of Student Athlete Services at Georgia Southern University. Her primary duties included overseeing all academic related matters for football and women's basketball while also overseeing graduate assistants, assisting with the Eagles In Transition program (career development) and teaching multiple teams leadership skills through Habitudes programming in which she is a Trained Facilitator. Student-Athletes under Brown’s supervision have earned a 3.0 or higher during the past three academic years which is the first time that had ever taken place.

During the 2014-2015 academic year, Brown served as an intern in Academic Support for Athletics at Villanova University. Her primary duties included working with 30+ student-athletes, overseeing varsity excuse forms, creating monthly newsletters and coordinating study hall.

Brown also worked at Lock Haven University in the Athletic department as a graduate assistant where she gained experience in academics, event management, and assisted the Women’s Basketball coaching staff. She helped establish and monitor a department wide study hall program while also creating manuals and serving as the point of contact for all home athletic contest for volleyball, football, women’s basketball and baseball. Before returning to Lock Haven as a graduate assistant, Brown served as an intern at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference in the media relations department.

Brown is a member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) and a member of Professional Development Institute (class of 2016).

A native of Philadelphia, PA, Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration from Lock Haven University where she was a four-year varsity basketball member. She also received her Master’s in Sport Science from Lock Haven in 2014.
