O'Meara was teammates with fellow classmate Shane Dahlke at Yorktown High School. The goalie finished 2019 with 172 saves compared to 114 goals allowed. As a four-year varsity member, O'Meara was a two-time New York State finalist, two-time regional champion, and a two-time section champion. He was also an All-American, All-Section 1, and a
lohud.com First-Team Westchester/Putnam County All-Star. He participated in Maverik Showtime Lacrosse, Nike Blue Chip, and the Brine National team, while also being named a Long Island Lax Fest All-Star.
