Prior to Marist: Walsh joins the Red Foxes’ midfield following four years of lacrosse, basketball, and football. During his senior season of lacrosse, Walsh was a team captain, All-County, All-Division, Newsday Top 100 Lacrosse Player on Long Island honoree, and earned both the Most Driven Player and Unsung Hero awards for Miller Place. He finished his career with 64 goals and 24 assists for 88 points. His team won the Suffolk County Lacrosse Championship in 2013. Walsh participated in the Peak 200 All-Star camp in 2012 and won numerous tournaments including Maverick Big Time Shootout, NXT Summer Invitational, and the Bitter Stowe Showcase. Walsh was a member of the National Honor Society and Foreign Language National Honor Society. He also earned All-Division First Team honors in football with over 1,000 all purpose yards and 12 touchdowns, and was a captain of the basketball team. His father played lacrosse at Fairfield University.
