2017: MAAC All-Academic Team... Appeared in four games.
2016: MAAC All-Academic Team... Played in nine games, picking up a ground ball at NJIT on April 23.
2015: Appeared in one game for the Red Foxes: April 18 at Manhattan.
2014: Appeared in one game for Marist: April 5 at Detroit... Collected two ground balls.
Prior to Marist: Sweeney was a three-sport athlete in high school, playing football, cross country, and lacrosse. Sweeney spent two years on varsity lacrosse as a midfielder. He was the unsung hero of the team as a senior at Harborfields. Sweeney was an honor roll and National Honor Society member.
