Prior to Marist: Murphy scored 16 goals and had 10 assists as a senior at Christian Brothers Academy to complete a career where he registered 88 points on 52 goals and 36 assists... He collected 146 ground balls in his four years on the varsity lacrosse team... A two-year captain, Murphy was named an Under Armour Underclassman All Star... Off the field he was a member of the National Honors Society.. He also played three years of varsity hockey and one year of varsity football... His brother Ty plays on the Towson lacrosse team, his father David played basketball at Clarkson and his step-mom played basketball at Le Moyne.
