2009: MAAC All-Academic Team ... Only Red Fox to start all 18 games ... Took seven shots on the season, putting two on net ... Was an anchor on the defensive unit responsible for ranking Marist third in the MAAC in goals against average (1.24), shutouts (6) and goals allowed (23).

Prior to Marist: George is a three-time member of the All-State Team in New York, and was also a part of a 2006 Class C Final Four participant, Southold High School. The Terryville Fire, his club team, won the 2007 U-18 National Championship.
