2016: Played in 18 games, starting 3...Had season high one assist at Canisius 10/12 and vs Manhattan 10/19...Had a career high 3 shots at Canisius 10/12...Tied a career high two shots on goal at Canisius 10/12 and at Siena 11/2...Had a career high 4 total shots on goal and 2 total assists.

2015: Played in 12 games, starting 10. Recorded his first career assist on Sept. 19 in a 4-2 loss at Vermont. Had a season high two shots on Aug. 30th vs. New Hampshire and Sept. 30th vs. Canisius. Recorded at least one shot in seven games. Finished the season with nine shots, two of which were on goal. 

Prior to Marist: Shearer played two seasons at Herkimer Community College where he was a team captain in 2014 and member of the 2012 squad that captured theNJCAA Division III championship. In his final year with the Generals he was selected to the NJCAA All-Region III First Team and National All Tournament Team. He also earned spots on the 2014 MVC All-Conference Team and NSCAA Continental Tire Junior College DIII All-East Region Second Team in his sophomore season.
