2021 Season
Accolades: ECAC Division I Men's Soccer All-ECAC Selection, All-MAAC First Team, MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, Third Team All-Region, MAAC All-Academic Team
  • Started in all 22 games for Marist.
  • Led the Red Foxes in minutes (2,001).
  • Contributed six goals in the Red Foxes 2021 season.
  • Second player in program history to earn MAAC Defensive Player of the Year.
2020-21 Season
  • Season canceled due to disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic, took a redshirt year to return for Fall 2021
2019 Season
Accolades: All-MAAC Second Team
  • Started all 19 games
  • Scored six goals for the year, including a season-high two against Saint Peter's
  • Went 5-for-5 on penalty kicks, ranking second in the nation
General
Prior to Marist: A strong and experienced defender, Huib played club soccer for BVC in the Netherlands.  He helped BVC to win league championships in four out of five seasons.  He played as high as the fifth tier in Dutch soccer.  At LIU Brooklyn in 2018-2019, Huib started in 19 out of 20 games and contributed 2 goals and 1 assist.  Huib had a very successful year with LIU winning both the 2018 NEC regular season and NEC tournament championships.  He went on to play in the NCAA tournament vs. West Virginia in the first round.  For his efforts, Huib was selected to the NEC All-Rookie team and rookie of the week honors.
