Prior to Marist: A two-time All-State selection and League Most Valuable Player, Lorello put up 16 goals and 10 assists his senior year at Walt Whitman as a captain, leading them to a New York State Class AA championship. He was recognized with All-Region, MSG All-Metro First Team and All-Long Island honors. Lorello also plays center midfield for his club team, the South Huntington Lighting, which has won many tournaments, including the Disney Soccer Showcase in 2014 and earned a national club ranking of no. 3 in 2015.
