Biography

2014: Appeared in 17 games for the Red Foxes, starting all 17... Scored a team-best four goals in his final season, with 29 shots attempted... His 16 shots on goal were the most on the team. 

2013: Appeared in 17 games and started 15... Scored his first collegiate goal and game-winner Oct. 12 vs. Saint Peter's... Recorded 10 shots with one on goal.

2012: Appeared in all 16 games and started two… Recorded eight shots and one was on goal.

Prior to Marist: Ashong was a three-year varsity player at Arlington High School. As a senior captain he was named to the All-League Team, All-Section Team and earned the League's AA MVP award. A seven-year member of Middlepath FC, Ashong was named Arlington High School's Athlete of the Month in October 2010.
