Prior to Marist: Reed joins the Red Foxes after most recently spending his senior scholastic year with the Match Fit Academy in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy League. Prior to joining the academy ranks full time, Reed was a three-year starter at Paramus Catholic High School. Outside of his time with his high school team, he spent three years participating with the U-15 New York Red Bulls Pre-Academy team. A starter all three years with the Red Bulls, Reed garnered national attention as he called into three U.S. National Team training camps; once with U-14 and twice with U-15.
Viggiano on Reed: “He’s a really great kid, who comes from a great family. With a brother, who played at St. John’s, that’s a definite advantage for Zach in learning and transitioning into the college game. We look forward to seeing what he can do out on the flanks at midfield."
