Marist Record Book: Strong freshman and sophomore campaigns placed Zahka in the Marist Record Books early on...She holds eight career records from her four-year tenure as a Red Fox...Zahka leads the record books in games played with 216, and is second in at bats (620), second in runs (122), second in RBIs (136), tied for third in hits (193), fourth in home runs (25), tied for fifth in battering average (.324), fifth in defensive putouts (763) and tied for ninth in doubles (31)...Zahka also holds seven single-season records...She is fourth in RBIs (41), sixth in hits (63), seventh in runs (40), seventh (170) and tied for 10th (168) in at bats, tied for ninth in batting average (.371), and tied for 10th in home runs (eight) and in doubles (12).
2014: MAAC All-Academic Team, MAAC Player of the Week (5/6), Corvias ECAC Player of the Week (5/7)…Zahka appeared in 51 games for the Red Foxes, starting 50 of Marist’s outings in her final season…She posted a .269 batting average, as she compiled 39 hits, 26 runs and 33 RBIs…Zahka was one of three to lead Marist with nine doubles, as she also claimed seven homers…Defensively, Zahka led the team with 233 putouts, while adding 24 assists…She finished the regular season on a 10-game hitting streak from April 23 to May 4, with 14 hits…She posted a season-high two runs scored on five occasions in 2014…Zahka also claimed a season-high two hits in nine outings throughout the season…She notched a season-high five RBIs vs. Iona on April 27…Zahka tallied a season-high 12 putouts over Holy Cross on April 23, while adding a season-high five assists vs. Wright State on March 9…After a successful four-year career at Marist, Zahka holds eight career records…She leads in games played (216), and is second in at bats (620), second in runs (122), second in RBIS (136), tied for third in hits (193), fourth in home runs (25), and tied for ninth in doubles (31).

Ranked top seven in the MAAC in runs scored (40, 2nd), doubles (12, 4th), batting average (.327, 7th) and on-base percentage (.415, 7th) ... Also ranked first on Marist with 55 hits and second with 31 RBIs ... Batted in the 3-4-5 positions of the lineup for 54 of her 55 games ... Made over 40 starts at shortstop. A consistent presence in the heart of Marist's batting order, she hit in the fifth position in 33 of her 54 games, as well as 14 in the three hole ... Led the team's four freshman position players with a .263 batting average, 34 runs scored and .388 on-base percentage ... Hit a team-leading .417 (15-36) and had a .563 on-base percentage (27-48) in the Red Foxes' 16 home games at Gartland Park ... Twice drove in three runs; at Maryland-Eastern Shore on March 16 and at Manhattan on April 17 ... Prior To Marist: Zahka was a member of the Lexington High School varsity softball team for four years. ... Played three years of basketball as well. ... As a junior, she was named to the Boston Herald's Players to Watch list. ... During her junior season, Zahka led the league with a batting average of over .600. ...
