2023 Season

 Accolades: Captain, MAAC Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 21, April 11), CSC Academic All-District, MAAC All-Academic Team, Marist’s nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year and MAAC Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
 
  • Pitched in 28 games, with 23 starts.
  • Went 14-10 with a 2.11 ERA and 1.23 WHIP.
  • Pitched 156 innings with 147 strikeouts and .228 batting average against.
  • Threw 17 complete games, had four shutouts, and one save.
  • Struck out season-high 10 twice – vs. Niagara, April 3; at Iona, May 5.
  • Pitched career-high 10 innings at Siena, April 15.

2022 Season

Accolades: CoSIDA Academic All-District, Second Team All-MAAC, Captain, MAAC All-Academic Team.
  • Made 19 appearances, with 10 starts and eight complete games.
  • Went 7-8 with a 2.65 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 97.2 innings.
  • Had 67 strikeouts and allowed the opposition to hit just .233 against her.
  • Made season debut on March 30 after suffering what was originally thought to be season-ending knee injury the previous September.
  • Tossed four-hit shutout vs. Rider in opening round of MAAC Championship, May 11.
  • Struck out season-high nine vs. Monmouth, April 16.
  • Tossed 11 scoreless innings to win both ends of a doubleheader at Manhattan, April 27.
  • Pitched 4.1 hitless innings of relief with no walk and four strikeouts to earn the win at Canisius, April 3.
2021 Season

Accolades: Second Team All-MAAC, MAAC Player of the Week 5/3, CSAE Student-Athlete of the Month (December), MAAC All-Academic Team.
  • Record book entering 2022, career stats: second, ERA (1.72); fifth, shutouts (nine); eighth, wins (32); eighth, complete games (33); eighth, strikeouts (334).
  • Made 15 appearances, with 13 starts and 12 complete games.
  • Went 9-6 with a 1.69 ERA and 0.91 WHIP in 99.1 innings.
  • MAAC rankings: tied for first, shutouts (three); second, ERA (1.69); third, complete games (12); third, batting average against (.198); fourth, strikeouts (96); fifth, wins (nine); sixth, innings pitched (99.1).
  • Had season-high 11 strikeouts twice – at Iona, May 1; at Canisius in MAAC Championships, May 13.
  • Tossed one-hitter vs. Rider, April 24.
  • Won five straight decisions, May 2-13.
  • Allowed three earned runs or fewer in last 12 appearances.
  • Did not walk more than three batters in any outing.
2020 Season
  • Appeared in eight games, with seven starts.
  • Led team in wins (four), complete games (five), starts (seven), WHIP (1.17), innings pitched (45.2), and strikeouts (48).
  • Tied for team lead in apperances (eight) and saves (one).
  • Went 4-3 with a 2.61 ERA.
  • Allowed the opposition to hit .246 against her.
  • Struck out season-high 14 in complete game victory vs. Robert Morris, Feb. 29.
  • Won final three starts, totaling 28 strikeouts in 19 innings pitched while allowing just three runs, two walks, and 13 hits.
2019 Season

Accolades: NFCA Top 25 Freshman, MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year, First Team All-MAAC, MAAC All-Rookie Team, Second Team NFCA All-Region, MAAC Pitcher of the Week 3/12 & 3/19, MAAC Rookie of the Week 3/12, 3/19, 4/9 & 4/23.
  • Appeared in 31 games, with 22 starts
  • Led the team in ERA (1.48), wins (19), appearances (31), starts (22), complete games (16), complete game shutouts (6), innings pitched (160.1) and strikeouts (190)
  • Ranked top-50 in the NCAA in ERA (No. 25), strikeout-to-walk ratio (No. 30), strikeouts per seven innings (No. 36), total strikeouts (No.46) and hits allowed per seven innings (No. 48)
  • Second on the team in batting average against (.194)

  • Pitched a three-hit, one run (unearned) complete game (nine innings), with 16 strikeouts in a 3-1 win vs Bryant, March 8

General

Prior to Marist: At Ichabod Crane High School, a member of the Varsity team since her freshman year, Calista has been named the team’s Most Valuable Player every season, compiling a three-year record of 57-7 over 421 2/3 innings with 836 strikeouts, 75 walks, and an ERA of 0.58. She also has 36 shutouts and 8 no hitters to her credit. Over the past three years she has earned several accolades including Times Union Small School All Star (2015-17), Colonial Council All Star (2015-17), Colonial Council Most Valuable Player (2017), New York State Sportswriters Class B All-State First Team (2015-17), New York State Sportswriters Player of the Year (2016), MaxPreps USA All American (2016), and Gatorade New York State Softball Player of the Year (2017). In 2015 she also played an integral part in helping lead the Ichabod Crane Varsity softball team to its only Class B state championship.
