Amanda Alongi is in her eighth season as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Marist in the 2018-19 school year. She previously worked from 2010-11 as an intern athletic trainer at Marist College. She is directly responsible for the well-being of the men's soccer, women's basketball and softball teams at Marist.Â
Alongi previously worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Post University from 2011-12 where she worked with men's soccer, men's basketball, and men's and women's tennis.
Alongi holds a bachelor's degree from Sacred Heart University where she graduated with a degree in Athletic Training. She then earned her master's in Athletic Training at California University of Pennsylvania, completing the degree in May 2010.Â
She holds certifications as a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Additionally, Alongi is credentialed by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Board of Certification.Â
A native of Staten Island, New York, Alongi currently resides in Poughkeepsie.Â
