Prior to Marist: Van Horn joins the Red Foxes, having been a two-year captain at Waukesha South High School, a four-time All-Conference selection and a two-time All-State honorable mention... She finished her high school career with 1,054 career points... As a senior, she averaged 14.6 ppg, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals while playing 30.4 minutes per game and was selected to play in the Wisconsin All-Star Game... She was named her team's MVP as a junior after averaging 12 points and six rebounds per game and also contributed three assists and three steals per game... Academically, she was named to the honor roll all four years.
