  • Across 85 career games (all starts) in three seasons with the Red Foxes, she registered 814 points (9.5 PPG), 446 assists (5.2 APG), 519 rebounds (6.0 RPG), while shooting .468 from the field and .396 from distance

  • Ranked sixth in the nation in assists and seventh in assists per game

  • Notched a regular season career-high 21 points at Quinnipiac on Feb. 29

  • Grabbed a career high 35 steals on the season, leading the team. Also led the team in FG%, 3PT%, and total assists (156)
  • First in the MAAC in assists, assists per game, and assist/turnover ratio (1.71)
  • Played a season-high 39 minutes against Quinnipiac and dished out a career-high 15 assists to go along with eight rebounds and nine points, Feb. 23

  • Totaled 160 rebounds (6.7 rebounds per game), 101 assists (led team), while shooting 70-175 (.400)

  • Had 29 steals and 17 blocks
  • Had assists against Quinnipiac, Jan. 11
  • Made 7-11 field goals against Saint Peter's, Jan. 23

2015-16 Freshman Year
  • (Missouri State) Saw time in 25 games as a true freshman, averaging 9.1 minutes per contest
  • Ended the year with 40 points, 31 rebounds, 21 assists and nine steals
  • Scored a season-high eight points against MidAmerica Nazarene (Nov. 17)
  • Made the first nine free throws of her career and shot 71 percent for the year from the line
  • Had multiple rebounds in eight games, including four at Ole Miss, Nov. 19
  • Had two assists and two steals against No. 13 Stanford, Nov. 27
  • Handed out three assists at Loyola, Jan. 17

General

Prior to Missouri State: Started four seasons at Valley High as both a point guard and a wing, and was ranked as high as the No. 1 recruit in Iowa by both Rivals.com and Iowa Preps. Iowa Class 5A Player of the Year and first-team all-state pick as a senior after averaging 18 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game. Also posted a 2:1 assist-to-turnover ratio as Valley High advanced to the state championship game and won a school-record 23 games. Helped team to 22 wins as a junior, averaging 18.7 points per game as a first-team all-state selection by the Des Moines Register. Finalist for Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year that season, and set a school record for free throw percentage by making 80 of 87 tries (.920) from the charity stripe. Second-team all-state pick by the coaches as a sophomore, hitting a school-record seven 3-pointers in a game that season. Helped Valley to an 18-6 record her freshman year as an honorable mention all-conference pick. Honored with the Presidential Academic Award all four years of high school.

Personal: Grace Vander Weide is the daughter of Doug and Dawn Vander Weide. Born in Des Moines, Iowa and has five siblings.
