General

Jayne was a member of the 2021-22 Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team her senior year of high school. She has 102 career 3-point field goals in the year of 2022 and was awarded the Amity High School Sportsmanship awarded of 2022. Whitman was the team captain  throughout the years of 2020-2022. She was the Athletic Leadership Conference Representative of AHS in 2020. Whitman was also a member of a swim team, being the Southern Connecticut Conference Swim Champion of 2021 and qualified for SCC Finals for 500 yard freestyle in 2020-21, 200 IM in 2021 and 100 freestyle in 2019. She was a state qualifier for the 500 free in 2021. On top of playing 2 sports throughout her high school career, Jayne was a member of the National Honor Society her senior year and received a handful of awards including: Superintendent's Award in 2021, a Saint Michael's Book Award Recipient in 2021, Perseverance in Geometry Award in 2020 and Excellence in Problem Solving Award in 2021. Outside of school, she has a trade-marked non-profit business that she started just at the age of nine years old to be able to purchase bikes for other children on Christmas. Marist has been Whitman's dream school since she was 12 years old.
