2022-23 Season

• Appeared in 32 games off the bench.
• Averaged 5.0 minutes and 1.0 point per game.
• Scored a season-high four points twice and had a .483 field goal percentage.

2021-22 Season

• Appeared in 15 games off the bench, averaging 4.9 minutes per game.
• Had season-high six points on 3-for-3 shooting in 13 minutes at Monmouth, Feb. 8.
• Grabbed season-high three rebounds vs. Manhattan, Feb. 25.

 

General

Belton joined the Red Foxes as a freshman after playing scholastically at Ruston High School in Louisiana, where he earned his team's Defensive Award this season. As a senior, Belton averaged 8.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks in 21 minutes per game while shooting 53 percent from the field. He helped lead Ruston to a 16-7 record and a playoff appearance as a senior.
 
Belton participated in several all-star games and elite events in his high school career. These include the 2021 FastBreak All-Star Classic (for the best players in Louisiana), the 2021 Beast of the Week All-Star Game (for the top seniors in north Louisiana, where he participated in the dunk contest), the Mal Mundy Statement Session Tour (September 2020, for Louisiana's top 30 players), and the 2019 John Lucas Elite Invitational Basketball Camp (held in Houston, Texas for 175 of the top high school players nationwide).
