Alexandria Shaffer is in her second year on the Marist athletic training staff in the 2022-23 school year.
Alexandria completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She than furthered her education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she received her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration: Sports Administration and Exercise Science emphasis. Alexandria was the Head Athletic Trainer through Saint Luke's Sports Medicine at Penn Valley Community College. She has also been apart of the William Jewell College and Rockhurst University as their Assistant Athletic Trainer.Â
Alexandria has been a National Athletic Trainers' Association Member since 2013 and most recently has been an American Heart Association BLS Provider since 2020. Alexandria has worked along side a variety of different universities as an Athletic Training student, giving her tons of clinical experience. She is BLS Provider Instructor certified.
Alexandria lives in Poughkeepsie with her husband, Tyler.
