Ashley Buck came to Marist as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Enhancement in March 2022. She is responsible for monitoring the academic progress and eligibility of the men’s and women’s basketball programs, and she became the academic advisor for Marist's tennis program in the 2023-24 school year.

Prior to Marist, she came from Western Carolina University where she worked as the Associate Director of Academic Support. She worked with various teams such as football, women’s basketball, women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s track and field. Her duties there included overseeing study hall, monitoring grades, and assisting at-risk students. She was also responsible for creating, planning, and implementing workshops for student-athletes and worked closely with those who needed additional support.

Buck earned her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management at Franklin Pierce University. While there, she was a graduate assistant for the women’s bowling team.

Buck earned her Bachelor’s in Sociology at Norfolk State University, while competing in NCAA women’s bowling. She is a native of Farmingdale, New Jersey and she currently resides in Beacon.
